It isn't enough simply to be an artist and to create art. It's important
- to be at the right place (traveling to London)
- to happen upon the right circle (a group of actors, who formed a theater company)
- to carve out the right business model (a profitable theater company, that enabled Shakespeare to write)
- to live in the era of the right high level patron (Queen Elizabeth I encouraged music and drama)
